Standard Terms and Conditions - Advertising

By submitting an advertisement to the www.myholidaycaravan.com website, you are deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions laid out here. These terms and conditions and the contract of which they form part shall be governed by English law. All references to "the customer" refer to the user applying to place an advertisement for a caravan on the www.myholidaycaravan.com website. All references to "the web site" refers to the www.myholidaycaravan.com internet site. All references to "us" refers to the Lead Advisory Company trading as My Holiday Caravan.

This service offers the facility to compose and place an advertisement for a used static caravan on a holiday park on the web site www.myholidaycaravan.com.

Duration of placement

Advertisements are placed on the www.myholidaycaravan.com website for an indefinite period until cancelled.

Prices

Private advertisements (for non commercial gain) are charged at £19.99 per advertisement.

Processing your advert

Only one caravan may be featured in each advertisement. The advert copy you supply must be legal, decent, honest and truthful and must comply with the British code of Advertising. www.myholidaycaravan.com may amend the advertisement to ensure compliance with these requirements. www.myholidaycaravan.com is not able to verify the truthfulness of any statements (including the authenticity of photographs) made by a customer in the advertisement copy. Accordingly, the customer shall be responsible for any losses, expenses or other costs incurred by www.myholidaycaravan.com caused by an untrue statement or inaccurate photograph supplied by the customer. www.myholidaycaravan.com reserves the right to amend or alter photographs supplied to us to ensure they meet our technical specification. If we are unable to accept and advertisement we will advise my email within 48 hours. No contract will be deemed to exist between the customer and www.myholidaycaravan.com until the advertisement has been accepted for publication on the web site. The copyright in all adverts (including text and photographs) shall be owned by us and you hereby assign all such copyright to us.

Payments & Security

Payment are taken only by credit card via our website.

To process card payments we will refer you to a dedicated commerce provider, who will take payment via a secure sever (SSL) connection to ensure the safety of your payment on-line. Payment can be made using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro or Click and Buy. To ensure further security when placing an advert you will be prompted to enter the CVC2 security code from your card. This is the last three digits on the signature strip on the back of your card. Providing this information confirms that the advert placer has seen the card.

While every effort is made to ensure the safety of your credit card transaction, www.myholidaycaravan.com cannot accept liability for any loss or damage incurred as a result of using the secure payment mechanism. Please note that if you update the credit card information we have on file for you by emailing trade@myholidaycaravan.com or by calling our customer service team on 01929 555 333 the new card information will become your default payment instrument, and all outstanding future charges will be processed against the new card. If you receive a refund for any reason, this will be applied to the credit card we have on file for you at the time the refund is processed.

Advertisement Upload

Once you have completed placed an advertisement and paid via your credit card it will be live on our database within 48 hours.
 

Editing advertisement

Cancelling an advertisement

Adverts can be cancelled by logging into your online account.

Confirmation

Once advertisement is live an email will be sent to your email specified address along with a test inquiry via the on page form.

Amendments

Advertisements can be amended at any time via the online facility provided.

Liability

www.myholidaycaravan.com will be required to carry out routine maintenance and service of 'its' servers and equipment. While www.myholidaycaravan.com seeks to keep disruption to a minimum, it does not guarantee that the advertisement will be continuously available on-line for the duration of the advert.

www.myholidaycaravan.com liability for breach of contract or negligence shall not exceed an amount equal to the price of the advert or series of adverts involved, provided that nothing in this clause shall limit www.myholidaycaravan.com liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or that of our service or agents.

English law shall govern the terms and conditions of this contract of which they form a part.

Privacy Policy

To protect your privacy we do not publish any of your details on your advertisement, potential buyers will contact you via the form on the advertisement which will be emailed to you to allow you to make contact.
