Writing Effective Advertisements

To upload your advertisement you will need to give a full description of the holiday park and the static caravan you wish to sell. Many users forget to include information on the park and this is very important to potential buyers. We have found it is best to keep your copy as brief and to the point as possible, picking the very best features to get your caravan sold. It is also important to be honest as buyers may travel considerable distances to view your static caravan. Remember to price your static caravan carefully as overpriced items rarely sell.

It is also important that you make the park owner aware of you intention to sell and be aware of any restrictions or commission payments that are outlined in your agreement with them. 

You will be given the opportunity to add 3 photos so make sure you take some on a digital camera if you do not have any on file. 

To place an advertisement via our online process you will need to enter:

Your email address – so buyer can contact your
Description – open description of park and static caravan
Features – list of caravan park features e.g. swimming pools
Price - asking price
Park Post code – this generates interactive Google map showing

Time of year

Customers advertise static caravans all year round with www.myholidaycaravan.com, we find most advertisements are placed in the winter by owners at the end of the season and buyer interest peaks in the summer season.

Advertisement Upload

Once you have an advertisement via our online process and paid via your credit card it will be live on our database within 48 hours. You will receive an email from us with a link to live entry on our database, plus we will test the advertisement by sending a ''test'' inquiry via the on page form.

Buyer contact

To protect your privacy we do not publish any of your details on your advertisement, potential buyers will contact you via the form on the advertisement. This will be emailed to you automatically and allow you to make contact.

Payment

Your agreed payment will be taken from you specified credit card, please note our service is based on a recurring charge and will be taken monthly thereafter until you cancel the advertisement.

Cancelling an advertisement

To cancel an advertisement, simply email us at trade@myholidaycaravan.com or call our customer service team on 01929 555 333 and your advertisement will be withdrawn in 48 hours. No further charges will be applied to you credit card on ce we have received notification to cancel your advertisement, however no refunds are given for cancelled advertisements.

Amendments

Advertisements can be amended at any time via the online facility provided.
