Buying Process
This section deals with our experience of the buying process with Park Resorts as a result of our trial buy. Our aim is to take you through the steps and tell you what we learnt and to point out any pitfalls.
Before starting our search we made a list of our requirements for both Holiday Park & Static Caravan.
This process was useful as we identified our priorities and requirements.
Brief : To find a south coast holiday home on a park with good facilities for employees, family and friends wishing to holiday in the UK in 2010 / 2011.
Park: Dorset, Hampshire and Isle of Wight – not more than 1.5 hours from home as we intended to take short breaks as well as longer trips. We also need access to attractions offering good family days out.
We also wanted a park which offered;
• Indoor Pool
• Beach Access
• Quiet and family friendly
• Access to Sailing
• Provided rainy day activities
• Dogs friendly
Site Fees: No more than £300 per month pro rata
Caravan
Type: Used (As first time buyers we wanted the value of a used caravan, also we may upgrade at some point).
Berths: We wanted 3 bedrooms and to sleep a min of 6.
Budget: £20,000 maximum
