Park Resorts use a structured 4 step process to make buying easy.

Buying on Park

Before travelling to the Isle of Wight we made appointments at our short listed parks. Booking a sales visit ensures that a company representative is  you you you are shown around the park and then you are then able go through the numerous caravan options.

It’s not always easy dealing with sales representatives in any business from estate agents to insurance companies, but I can honestly say that we received no hard sell from any company and staff where generally helpful and informative.

For this blog we will focus on the sales visit to Thorness Bay Holiday Park operated by Park Resorts on the 5th June 2010.

Having travelled over to The Island in the morning we arrived at Thorness Bay Holiday park at 12:30. On arrival at the smart new reception we were offered coffee by our sales representative who then ran through the itinerary planned for the next hour.

At this point she gave use information on the ownership process and detailed typical costs and payments, before heading out to look at the park. We really liked the fact there was no hidden costs and I suspect they take this approach to avoid wasting time with customers who could not afford to buy!

All purchase and running costs where fully explained along with details of the Park Resorts subletting scheme and potential income. This information was not ‘hard sell’ and outlined the pros & cons of the different options.

If required they can also quote on specific holiday home finance designed for caravans if this is required to purchase the caravan.

Park Resort refers to the buying process in 4 logical steps.
