Intro

We had 2 x short breaks in the caravan this month as we had no time off work but wanted to get some use out of the caravan while the weather is good.

Visits

Had a wonderful day in the sun at Priory Bay near Seaview, this is an excellent tree lined beach that very few people use. It really felt like being in the south of France with boats moored up in the bay, to access this beach you simply drive to Seaview, Park, and walk along the beach to the bay to the left as you look at the sea. As there were not too many people around we had a great a BBQ using our new portable BBQ with fresh marinated chicken.

Great visit to The Isle of Wight Zoo with the family which had a wide range of animals and gives a positive contribution to worldwide conservation. The children love the big cats and the huge reptile room (more than the parents). Family ticket was value for money.

Ownership

We should have bought a storage box when we got the caravan for outdoor kit.

Thoughts have turned to a potential upgrade in 2011 with veranda and storage box all ready added.
