Lakeside Holiday Park – the historic Roman-occupied city of Colchester is the location of this holiday park. Colchester is also a part of the South Downs, the range of chalk hills that covers roughly 260 square miles and links the southern English counties of West Sussex and Hampshire. Enter this world of relaxation by crossing over the causeway. There are 10 private fishing lakes that stretch across 150 acres and are fully stocked with bream, carp, perch, roach, rudd, and tench.

The Lakeside Entertainment Center family bar offers entertainment that will satisfy just about any taste while the large deck and patio stretch out over the lake offering some outstanding views. In the evening, it takes on an atmosphere and life that is solely its own. The best place for a quiet drink, to play darts or pool, and to watch TV is the Kingfisher Bar while the bistro offers numerous dishes and the convenience store offers a large assortment of convenience goods.
